This classic novel tells the story of Tom, a young bootblack who rises from humble beginnings to achieve success and prosperity in the big city. Written in Horatio Alger's trademark rags-to-riches style, this book provides a vivid portrayal of the American Dream in action. With timeless themes of hard work, perseverance, and determination, Tom the Bootblack is a must-read for anyone seeking inspiration and motivation. The story is still being printed today.
While we cannot locate a copyright or print date in this vintage copy, there is a handwritten inscription that reads, "March 15, 1915, From Dr. Maas". Also, the cover art appears to be unique to this printing as we cannot locate another one listed anywhere online with this cover. It's probably out there somewhere, but not anywhere we've looked so far.
