"Stuart Little" by E.B. White

Hi there! Have you ever met a mouse who wears a hat, carries a cane, and lives in New York City? Let me introduce you to Stuart Little.

Stuart is the second son of the Little family, and he is exactly two inches tall. He is also a mouse, which his family doesn’t mind at all. Stuart is brave, polite, and always ready for an adventure. He sails a toy boat in a big race in Central Park, takes charge of a classroom as a substitute teacher, and sets off on a long journey to find a friend who has disappeared.

The story is funny and gentle, with chapters short enough to read one at a time, so it’s great for reading aloud together. Grown-ups will enjoy it as much as you do, since it’s by E.B. White, who also wrote “Charlotte’s Web.”

This paperback is in good condition, and you can find it at Dead Tree Dreams. Take it home and start the adventure tonight!
