“A Merry Little Meet Cute” by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone

Fellow romance fan, if you want a holiday read with a wink and some serious heat, I have your next favorite.

Bee Hobbes is a plus-size adult film star with a huge following, and she’s happy with her life. Then she’s cast, almost by accident, as the lead in a squeaky-clean holiday movie for a very conservative network. Her co-star is Nolan, a former boy-band heartthrob with a bad-boy reputation, and the film is shooting in Christmas Notch, Vermont, a town that runs on holiday movies.

Between the scripts, the snow, and the cameras, the sparks are real. But if their off-camera romance doesn’t stay off camera, this meet cute might end up on the cutting room floor.

It’s funny, warm, and body-positive, with plenty of steam, so it’s for adult readers. It earned a starred review from Booklist, and it’s the first in the Christmas Notch series.

This paperback is in very good condition, and you can find it at Dead Tree Dreams. It’s the perfect cozy read for the season!
