Published in 1940, this edition of William Shakespeare's Tragedy of King Lear contains the full text of the play as well as notes, textual notes, and a glossary edited by George Lyman Kittredge, a professor of English at Harvard University whose scholarly edition of the works of Shakespeare was influential in the early 20th century. 

This copy is in excellent condition, especially for an 85-year-old book.
