Holy Bible -- KJV Master Reference Bible (1965)

This leather-bound King James Version of the Holy Bible is more than a book of holy scripture. Illustrated throughout with paintings of dozens of biblical figures, this large-print, red-letter volume also contains full-color maps and photographs of the Holy Land, as well as detailed family genealogy charts. Located between the Old and New Testaments is a history titled 'Between the Testaments' which brings to light the 400 years between the prophecy of Malachi and the coming of Christ. Often described as 'silent', this time was filled with events that "gave to later Judaism a distinctive ideology and providentially prepared the way for the coming of Christ and the proclamation of his Gospel." Although it does not contain the full text of the Apocrypha, this section does outline each of the Apocryphal books in detail. 

Printed in 1968, this volume is still in excellent condition and would make a wonderful family heirloom.
